Best wishes to Allie P who is traveling to Ireland to represent the Culkin School at the Oireachtas Rince na Eireann (All Irelands) in February.  The competition will be held February 9 to 17 in Killarney.  More than 4000 dancers are expected to compete this year and we're proud that Allie will be representing the school.

On Sunday, January 6, some of the Culkin School's boys performed at the Auld Shebeen pub for a fundraiser hosted by CCE Potomac for area musician Danny Doyle. We've posted (some rather dark, but nonetheless fun) video on our YouTube page of the boys, the girls and our adults from the show. Be sure to take a look!

Welcome to 2008!

With the new year comes a few housekeeping items here on CulkinSchool.com and a reminder that classes resume from our holiday break on January 2.

• We've updated the Photo Gallery and added more photos from the 2007 Oireachtas and pictures from An Nollag, Eileen Iver's holiday show, and updated some photos throughout the site.
  
• The December 26 Kennedy Center Performance is now linked from the Media page.
• The 2008 Calendar and the 2008 Feis Schedule have been updated.
