A HUGE congratulations to Michaela L & Thomas A, who both won their final first places in Prizewinner at the Lynn Academy Feis in Atlantic City this past weekend! They are our newest Preliminary Championship dancers! Way to go guys!!

Beginner Classes for fall 2011-12: Silver Spring and Kensington are full

Our Tuesday Silver Spring and Thursday Kensington beginner classes are now FULL. We still have space in our Monday and Tuesday Bethesda and Saturday Rockville options, though. If you'd like to join our school, please sign up right away!

We are on a roll! More Congratulations...

Congratulations to Alex P, who won his 2nd first place in Preliminary Championships today at the Long Island Feis. He is our newest OPEN Championship dancer, the highest level a dancer can achieve! What a great week for Culkin! Way to go Alex!

Another Congratulations!

What a week, huh? This is a shout out to Maggie McNamara, who won her 2nd first place at the Preliminary Championship level today at the feis in the Catskills! She is the newest OPEN Championship dancer, which is the highest level a dancer can achieve! Way to go Maggie!!!

Two New Performances for Labor Day Weekend!

The Culkin School will be performing at two local events during Labor Day Weekend:

Sunday, September 4, Glen Echo Irish Music and Dance Showcase:  We will dance at 12:00noon for 30 minutes.  All Dancers, kids and adults, are invited!  Dancers, visit the Yahoo group to sign up. 

Monday, September 5, Kensington Labor Day Parade:   This is a really fun parade - it feels like Mayberry!  We don't have all the line-up information yet, but will post it as soon as we do.  All Dancers, kids and adults, are invited! The costume for this parade will be shorts, Culkin t-shirts/cap sleeves, and sneakers.  Dancers, visit the Yahoo group to sign up.
