We are delighted to announce that Phil Stacy, TCRG, will become the Program Coordinator for the Culkin Adults, effective immediately. Phil brings his competition, performance and teaching skills and experience to his new position and embraces his role as instructor and coach to the successful adult program at the Culkin School.
Megan Moloney, TMRF, the current Program Coordinator, is relocating to Kentucky, following her lifelong dream of returning home. We thank Megan for leading the program to such success and artistry, for her dedication to being our webmaster and social media voice, and for her deep commitment to the Culkin School and its traditions. We wish her well-deserved success and happiness in her new life in Lexington.
We also announce the appointment of Lynne Haslbeck as Dance Captain for the adults. Lynne will continue to assist in classes and will help Phil with adult teams and performances.
We are enthusiastic about the upcoming changes and are confident that the adult program will continue its success in competition and in bringing the traditions of Irish music and dance to area adult dancers.

We are incredibly proud of all of our dancers who competed in the North American Nationals this past week. Everyone ‘danced up’ and made us proud! You are all knocking on the “recall” door and we are confident that you all will take the stage by storm at Oireachtas! A HUGE shout out to the girls who recalled – Mary C, 62nd, Sam D 36th, Tati K 36th. You are all great role models and will help all of our dancers get to the next level!
Booster Club Inaugural Kick-Off Party June 21!
We are incredibly excited to announce that the Booster Club is holding their INAUGURAL event on Sunday, June 21 at McGinty’s Public House, 911 Ellsworth Ave, Silver Spring, MD starting at 4pm ending at 7pm. It’s Father’s Day–there is absolutely no better way to celebrate with Dad than dinner and drinks at an Irish pub! There will be live music, raffles, and of course LOTS of dancing for everyone-so bring your shoes and wear your Culkin Ts!! 10% of the proceeds will go to the Culkin Booster Club so come out and celebrate!
