Congratulations to our Oireachtas dancers!

What a fantastic weekend at the Oireachtas in Orlando! Thank you to all of the dancers for working so hard and representing the school so well! Thank you to the parents for all of your support! We couldn’t be prouder of ALL of our dancers!! You all looked amazing! We had 28 recalls, 9 World Qualifiers, 11 Nationals Qualifiers, 6 dancers in the top 5, including Conor O, who is our U9 Regional Champion! Our teams did amazingly well, too! Adults Swept 1, 2 & 3rd place in the 4 hand competition and 1 & 2 in the 8-hand competition. We had 4 children’s teams in the top 10 in very large, competitive competitions! Our dancers who competed in Traditional Sets were fantastic! Congratulations to Bonnie C & Natalie W, who won their age groups! Specific details to be listed out later tonight or tomorrow!

No Classes-Feis Recovery Day

Congratulations to everyone on a FANTASTIC FEIS CULKIN! An enormous thank you to all of our volunteers, who helped put this entire event together! There is NO Way that we could get this feis off the ground without you! Today, November 3 there are NO at Hughes UMC or Imagination Stage. (**PLEASE NOTE THAT ADULT CLASSES WILL BE HELD AT GLEN ECHO**) We will resume back to the normal schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4!

We want to send out a HUGE congratulations to Alex P, who medalled in both of his rounds today at the All Ireland Championships; winning a 6th place medal in his Treble Jig and a 10th place medal in his Reel! Top 10 in both rounds! Woohoo! Way to go Alex! What a GREAT way for the Culkin School to start off the Oireachtas season!
